Chairman Amiad Taub of the Jewish Home Party's Branch Council has expressed his opposition to the party's agreement with the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party for a joint Knesset run.

Taub told Arutz Sheva, "The agreement with Otzma should not have been signed, certainly not before opening the ranks, checking with the New Right and bringing about [an agreement with] the National Union our most natural connection. These should have been the first steps. I also say my personal opinion, that it is wrong for the Jewish home to run together with Otzma Yehudit and I believe it will not pass in the party center."
