Palestinian Authority Minister of Tourism and Archaeological Sites Rula Ma'ayah said on Sunday that the number of tourists visiting the PA during 2019 exceeded three million. The number of hotel stays exceeded two million, mainly tourists from Poland, Romania, the United States, Italy and India.
The minister noted that the reason for the increase in the number of tourists was due to her office policy, cooperation with the private sector and security prevailing in the Palestinian territories, thanks to the activity of the security forces despite the "occupation".
