Channel 13 News commentator Barak Ravid, who is known as having significant Leftist positions, came out in defense of Gideon Sa'ar in a confrontation with Minister Yisrael Katz.
"Of course, I wish both parties well, but when there are lies it must be said: Gideon Sa'ar did not support the government in freezing settlements. On the contrary - in the same session Sa'ar gave a lengthy monologue that if one has to choose between freeing terrorists and freezing construction in settlements - freeing terrorists is preferable (I of course think the opposite from Sa'ar). Yisrael Katz isn't telling the truth," tweeted Ravid.
