In a post on Twitter, Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon welcomed the German Bundestag's resolution on Hezbollah, writing:
"I welcome the German Bundestag's recommendation to ban Hezbollah activities. It is an important step towards joining the US, Israel, Australia, Canada, UK, the Arab League&others in banning this Iran-sponsored terrorist org. Failure to do so legitimizes terrorism &appeases Tehran."
