In a statement the Issachar family responded to a Moscow court decision to reject an appeal by Naama Issachar, saying:
"We are sorry and angry. Everyone saw the farce that went on when her voice was isolated in a glass booth. Naama should not carry on her shoulders all the interests and disputes between Israel and Russia. We ask the Prime Minister to fulfill your commitment. Do not allow a situation where Putin lands in Israel for a state ceremony without Naama returning home."
