Meretz petitioned the High Court against the appointment of Ben Ari

Meretz Chariman MK Nitzan Horowitz apetitioned the High Court against the appointment of Orly Ben-Ari Ginzburg as State Attorney.

"The appointment was made contrary to the position of the Judiciary and the Civil Service Commissioner, in the absence of a substantiated reasoning and it was intended entirely to castrate the enforcement authorities on the eve of the prime minister's prosecution," the petition claims.
