Eastbound Highway 79 has been blocked at the Somech Junction, following the death of a pedestrian about the age of 60, who was hit by a vehicle between the Lower Galilee village of Bir al-Maksur and the Movil Interchange.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman about the age of 30, was evacuated to hospital in light condition.
