Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz announced that his party was supportive of Minister of Internal Security Gilad Erdan's (Likud) intention to appoint a new permanent commissioner for the Police , "Even during this period, any responsible government action must be taken, even if it is politically damaging to us."
