Teachers-union leader: 'The education system at a low point'

Secretary-General Yaffa Ben-David of the Histadrut Hamorim Teachers Union said, Tuesday, "The education system at a low point."

Speaking at a conference to mark Teacher's Day, Ben-David explained, "Instead of investing in education, the Ministry of Education is overloading teaching staff, urging them to fill out forms that eventually create a lot of burden on them. 'New Reforms' is a laundered name for budget cuts."
