A memorandum from the police investigation of former Bar Association chairman Effie Naveh has raised a suspicion that a conversation was between him and his lawyer was recorded.

Channel 12 News reported on Monday that Naveh's attorney made urgent contact with the Prosecutor's Office following the disclosure of the memorandum. The police said in response, "No conversation was recorded between Naveh and his attorney. It is an error of wording." Naveh faces indictments, subject to a hearing, on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust in an investigation into the appointment of judges.
