Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi of the Israel Defense Forces commented Monday evening on falsified haredi-religious induction data, saying, "Presenting things not as they are is a breach of the trust that exists between the IDF and Israeli society."
The lieutenant-general added, "Where malice is found - we will take a hard hand. There is no room for cutting corners."
