The Hashomer organization, which helps farmers with hundreds of volunteer guards in dozens of farms from Hevron to northern Samaria, announced on Monday that it will distribute more than 500 fleece outfits as part of Operation Warm Winter for Farmers.
Avichai Suissa, the organization's director of operations, said, "This is the third year in a row that we have been distributing warm clothing and other equipment to volunteers and farmers. Assistance in guarding the farms is a national task. The association added that "it is precisely in winter, with increasing theft and the challenge of staying up at night, it is proper and important to volunteer and contribute."
