El Al Airlines has decided to name its eight aircraft in the Boeing 737-900 extended-range fleet after the eight Krayot cities of Israel: Kiryat Ono, Kiryat Bialik, Kiryat Ata, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Tivon, Kiryat Yam, Kiryat Motzkin and Kiryat Malachi.
The planes will be used on the airline's European routes. A festive event to mark the move was held at El Al's offices with representatives of the cities.
