During the first ten months of 2019, 27.3 thousand immigrants arrived in Israel, a 20-percent increase over the same period last year, according to figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics for International Migrant Day.
Since the establishment of the modern Jewish state, 3.3 million people have immigrated to Israel, 43.7 of whom immigrated from 1990 onward.
