Tiberias Mayor Ron Cobi has appeared at an Interior Ministry pre-dismissal hearing over the failure of the city to pass a budget, as determined by the Supreme Court.
Earlier on Sunday, the court rejected a petition filed by the mayor against the hearing. Cobi claimed because of the transitional nature of the government, there was no authority to hold the hearing.
