Minister of the Environment MK Zev Elkin today signed an amendment to the national parks, nature reserves, national sites and commemorative sites (protected natural values) list, mainly updating and adding to the list species listed in the declaration. the list had not been updated in a decade.
In light of the declaration hundreds of species of plants and animals will be protected.
