The Moscow Court of Appeal has opened the hearing before a two-judge panel on the appeal of Israeli Naama Issachar, who was sentenced to a long prison sentence for drug possession.
Issachar has not been physically brought to the hearing and is taking part through a video conference from the prison where she has been held since her first trial ended.
