Israeli Consul in New York Danny Dayan responded to the shootout in Jersey City.
"According to senior sources I spoke to minutes ago, the feeling is that the incident in Jersey City was not a terrorist event or a hate crime. However, the event is not over yet, the situation is fluid and as at this stage it is only a suspicion," Dayan tweeted.
