Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein (Likud) made a speech as part of an event to mark "Human Rights Day" in the Knesset.
"Unfortunately, on this day, it should be said that in the United Nations, the concept of" human rights "has become void of content. The UN Human Rights Council, which is responsible for protecting and promoting them around the world, is attacking the State of Israel at a unprecedented rate. It does so when others are committing have large human rights abuses, real "lighthouses", such as Libya and Sudan, also somehow sit on the council," Edelstein added.
