A budget of NIS 500 million has been approved for the 2020 basket of state-subsidized drugs and medical treatment, according to Channel 12 News.
The report says the budget clearance eliminates the fear that thousands of patients will be left without the medication, including many cancer patients and small children who suffer from rare and serious illnesses.
