The Supreme Court is asking Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to submit a response within 9 days to a petition asking him to make his opinion now on whether Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu can be tasked with forming a government in light of the decision to prosecute him.
The attorney general is being asked to address the question whether he should render an opinion on this before the elections.
