Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu addressed the political situation this morning: "I urge Benny Gantz to come to a unity government with me. It's still not late and there's time to do so. If you're unable to do so, let's go to a decision to choose between myself and you and let the people decide who they want to be prime minister," Netanyahu said at the Makor Rishon conference.
He enumerated two scenarios that could lead to forming a government before Wednesday. "Either Benny Gantz overcomes Yair Lapid's veto or Avigdor Liberman overcomes Avigdor Liberman. I really hope one of the two happens. There's no reason to go for further and unnecessary elections."
