The Blue and White Party issued a statement after the meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu (Likud) and MK Benny Gantz (Blue & White).
"The Likud chairman has not brought any new proposal that matches his legal situation and the recognition of the loss in the elections, or any new proposal at all. At the meeting, he also refused to commit to basic government rules or to avoid striving for personal immunity. In short - Netanyahu has decided on elections. "
"Nevertheless, until the last minute, we will continue to try to exploit any chance of establishing a partnership and unity government. Words that are apparently foreign to Netanyahu," Blue & White said.
