The Malmö City Council has announced that it intends to allocate two million Euros to secure the Jewish community in a city that is considered the most threatened Jewish center in the world.

Over the past few years, more and more local Jews have been talking about their fear of walking around the city with outside signs of being Jewish for fear of being harassed. The Malmö Police have begun to deploy officers to secure the city's Jewish cemetery, aollowing a series of incidents in which young Muslims riot during Jewish funerals or otherwise interrupt the funeral process.
