Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi of the Israel Defense Forces told a ceremony honoring technical achievement in the IDF, Monday, "Technology has the power to significantly increase destruction and damage of the enemy, thus tilting the next campaign in our favor. This is technology we already have, but we must continue to develop in all areas: in the field of assault and collection, in digital and cyber, in intelligence and advanced weapons of all kinds."
The lieutenant-general added, "Technology is a crucial variable and the clear advantage of the State of Israel. It is an advantage that we must continue to harness for a range of capabilities, and to continue to make the IDF a modern and effective army - this is the goal we set ourselves. Effective means - an army that attacks precisely and with extraordinary power and at the same time defends very effectively." He concluded, "Continue to make the impossible possible!"
