The Health Ministry is expected to transfer a budget of about 233 million shekels to geriatric institutions for the addition of approximately 720 inpatient beds, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
The three-year program is for geriatric rehabilitation beds, complex nursing care and long-term hospitalization with respiration.
