Minister of Transportation Bezalel Smotrich said on Sunday, "A little more of all the good that Chabad brings to the world is what the State of Israel needs at this time. A little more unity, a little more favorable outlook. Chabad is non-partisan and not just that: it is against divisions and against separations."

Speaking at the dedication of the Chabad House at Ramon Airport in southern Israel, he noted that he was prevented from going to last week's Chabad emissaries gathering in New York and told those present that he meant to tell the New York gathering, "I would like to say thank you on behalf of the Israeli government, on behalf of all the citizens of Israel and on behalf of every Jew, for this huge enterprise of the Rebbe. The emissary enterprise which is right for every mission for every Jew. Thank you for the good, the grace, the unity Thank you for the mission."
