Israelis made credit transactions on Friday - "Black Friday" for a total of NIS 915.23 million, according to Shaba Automated Banking Services, which operates the central credit card clearing system in Israel.

This represents a 15.1-percent increase in the value of the purchases, compared to Black Friday 2018, with the number of purchases rising 8.8 percent. The average transaction was 200.68 shekels, down 5.6 percent, but the average online transaction stood at NIS 348.21, a 39.5-percent jump.
