Joint Arab List Chairman Ayman Odeh condemned the decision to build a new Jewish neighborhood in the heart of Hevron.
"The war on peace continues. The decision to build a new settlement in the second largest Palestinian city in the West Bank is a dangerous step that deepens the occupation regime on millions of Palestinians.
"650 soldiers who secure 800 settlers in the middle of a city of 200,000 Palestinians - this is the messianic and dangerous vision of the Right," contended Odeh.
