PM's advisors appeal to Supreme Court over police entry into cellphones

Prime Minister Netanyahu's advisors, Ofer Golan and Jonathan Orich, appealed to the Supreme Court on Thursday regarding the police breaking into their phones.

In the application to appeal, attorneys for the advisors wrote, "Since the police have taken the law into their own hands and infiltrated the applicants' mobile phones without judicial order, knowing that this is contrary to the law, case law and its procedures, it is silenced and prevented from coming to court to obtain an infiltration order for the applicants' mobile phones, which in effect will legalize this illegal penetration."
