In a post on Twitter Former Mayor of Jerusalem and current MK Nir Barkat (Likud) lauded UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirve's open letter on Labour anti-semitism, writing:
"I reached out today to thank Chief Rabbi Mirvis for his strong statement on Jeremy Corbyn, who continues to prove his anti-Israel and anti-Jewish bias. As public leaders we must fight anti-Semitism wherever it happens. To the Jewish community of Britian, we are with you!"
