Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu Party said on Tuesday that he does not believe that the defense establishment will undertake operations according to the needs of politicians.
Speaking at the Israel Democracy Institute, Liberman said, "I trust the defense establishment will know how to stop military moves if it thinks they are not out of [military] merit."
