Member of Knesset Shlomo Karhi (Likud) said, Monday evening, "It is legitimate to go to primaries, but I say to [MKs Gid'on] Saar and [Nir] Barkat, you're wasting your time. [Prime Minister and Likud Chairman Binyamin] Netanyahu will win in a walk.
Interviewed by Radio Kol Berama, Karhi said, "The prime minister has approved my promoting the direct election [of prime minister] bill, which will add [Knesset] 12 seats to the winner. If [the] Blue and White [Party] wants to add more, so that it will also get them a majority without the Arabs - there is something to talk about."
