Foreign ministers of the Arab League denounced, Monday,the United States' recent announcement that Israeli settlements are not inconsistent with international law, according to the Associated Press.
Speaking at an emergency meeting, Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit called the decision “unfairly biased and unacceptable,” and said the US has forfeited its role as a neutral arbiter between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
