The official value of the shekel rose an average of .207 percent on Monday against most of the currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.461, up .029 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .519 percent to 3.8121 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.455 shekels, down .362 percent.
