The Minister of Defense, Naftali Bennett participated in the annual memorial of the 1956 Sinai War, at mount Herzl. The President, Reuven Rivlin and other dignitaries were also present.
"It should be clear to all our enemies, that we will respond to any attempt to stop us living. It is clear to them that our response will be accurate and deadly. I say this, not only to our enemies in the south but also those in the north. The IDF will continue to rebuff threats from close and afar. We will stand with them, intelligently, bravely and with all the equipment needed to withstand these threats."
