The first Nechama Rivlin Memorial Prize for Sustainability was awarded Sunday evening by the Rivlin family at the 4th Israeli Climate Conference, which encourages public awareness of climate issues in Israel.
The award went to the rabbis’ letter against the use of disposable plastic, to the students’ protest movement for climate in Israel, to the campaign for clean air in Haifa Bay and to the Emek Hazvaim deer park in Jerusalem.
