Justice Minister Amir Ohana has approached Southern District prosecutors in recent weeks in an attempt to find out about improper behavior in the district, as he is believed to be trying to gather material relating to the conduct of State Attorney Shai Nitzan, according to Channel 13 News.

The station revealed on Sunday that Ohana's chief of staff photographed the screen of a computer belonging to one of the ministry's senior members bureaus regarding a prosecutors' meeting at Nitzan's office. Ohana's office responded, "The Minister's Office received a complaint against senior members of the Prosecutor's Office from a prosecutor who serves in the Southern District Attorney's Office. The minister spoke to her and referred her to the State Prosecutor's Audit Commissioner."
