Rabbi Rafi Peretz welcomed the conviction of Sheikh Raed Salah for supporting a terror organization.
"Supporting the Islamic Movement's Northern Faction means supporting terror. I congratulate the court on Raed Salah's conviction for supporting the outlawed organization.
"I hope that the verdict in his case is maximal and severe as possible. The State of Israel has no place for supporters of terrorists, even if they are Israeli citizens. And to all those who imagined a minority government leaning on the Joint Arab List, I suggest you take a good look at who came to the courtroom this morning and supported that incitement discourse," he added.
