MK Tamar Zandberg ("Democratic Union") has appealed to Knesset Arrangements Committee Chairman Avi Nissenkorn to set up a Knesset committee to discuss removing the Prime Minister's immunity.

In the letter, Zandberg wrote: "It is inconceivable that for the first time in the history of the State of Israel, an indictment is filed against an incumbent prime minister whom the law does not force to resign, and the Knesset cannot discuss it."
