The Joint List party responded on Thursday to the indictment of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
"Netanyahu's crimes and lies have finally gained legal recognition. But the danger posed by him has only increased: After he paralyzed the country while critically harming the weakened public, initiated wars and committed crimes, and incited against Arab citizens - all to escape trial - Netanyahu will now turn his followers against law enforcement officials,” the party said.
"This is not a metaphor. Netanyahu may indeed lead to a bloody war (internal or external) in order to stay out of jail. Fearing that he will act, we call for his immediate ouster from his position as Prime Minister in whatever democratic way the law permits," it added.
