The RAAM (United Arab List) Party and the Islamic Movement have criticized the United States determination that the settlements in Judea and Samaria do not contravene international law.
A RAAM statement said, "The American administration's decision to legitimize Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 is an indecent and invalid decision. The US government has violated the right of the Palestinian people in its homeland, and closed the door to the establishment of a Palestinian state in the territories occupied from 1967."
