Member of Knesset Benny Gantz (Blue and White) attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu from the Knesset plenum on Monday over Netanyahu's recent warning of Gantz's intention to form a minority government with the support of the Arab parties.

Gantz said, "There is no emergency situation for the Israeli government except for the fact that the prime minister's days are numbered from the political point of view, and he fears for his legal future," Gantz said. "I do not accept incitement voiced against members of the Knesset who are his political rivals, nor do I accept incitement voiced against members of the Arab Knesset who represent a public here who is a legitimate part of the State of Israel."

Telling the Arab Knesset members he accepted their criticism of Israeli actions, the former chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces proposed that they not continue their criticism of the IDF, noting that when something wrong is done it is investigated and that while the IDF is not mistake free, it's intentions are good.
