Co-chairman Naftali Bennett of the New Right Party made clear at the meeting of right-wing bloc Knesset members that his party would not under any circumstances join a minority government led by Blue and White Party Chairman Benny Gantzwith the support of the Arab parties.

Bennett said, "Israel's enemies are skilled, they know the nuances well and look at us. They are counting on the divisions between us and the controversies." In response to that, he said, "The answer to the enemies of Israel is unity among all who recognize the State of Israel as Jewish and democratic. Everyone who recognizes that is welcome," to form a government.
