Officials involved in the meeting between President Rivlin and leader of the Blue and White Party, Benny Gantz have reported that the President has tried to persuade Gantz not to form a minority government supported by the Arab parties. Ze'ev Kam of Reshet B reported that the President believes such a government will not be effective and will not create unity among Israel's voters.
