Reserve officers addressed a letter to the IDF Chief of Staff following news of the intention to dismiss Rabbi Zvi Kostiner from reserve service: "We're shocked at the very thought."
The Mitzpe Ramon Hesder yeshiva head was ousted more than a year ago from his position teaching a military rabbis' course, due to comments he made during lessons and talks, mainly in connection with IDF Joint Service Order mixed-gender policy.
