The Lod District Court has dismissed an appeal filed by police and ordered the release of administrative detainee Neria Zarog from custody, ruling that Zarug will have to report to a police station once a week and comply with an administrative restraining order that bans him from his home in the Samarian Jewish community of Yitzhar for three months.
He pledged to comply with the restraining order, having barricaded himself in the home earlier this week. At the request of a state representative, the release decision will be delayed until tomorrow for the purpose of allowing the police to appeal to the Supreme Court.
