Spokesman Musab Barim of the Islamic Jihad terror organization, confirmed on Thursday morning the reports of a ceasefire reached between Israel and its organization, saying, "The agreement was reached after Israel surrendered to the terms of the Palestinian resistance."
He said Islamic Jihad's achievements are "halting the assassinations, guarding the protesters on the March of Return, and beginning the implementation of understandings related to the removal of the blockade." A diplomatic source said Islamic Jihad and other Gaza organizations agreed to conduct March of Return peacefully.
