The office of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has responded to the Israel Defense Forces' elimination of a senior Islamic Jihad terrorist, saying, "We condemn the heinous crime committed by Israel for attacking a civilian and his wife and for injuring his children by airstrike at their home."
The statement concluded, "Israel bears full responsibility for the consequences of the deterioration of the situation in Gaza."
