Deputy Minister Litzman addressed a letter to President Reuven Rivlin ahead of his meeting with Liberman, calling on him to stop incitement against the haredi public.
"We are exposed to the most blatant statements, especially by Members of Knesset Liberman and Lapid, against publics and populations that are slandered daily. Even if there are differences of opinion, we must not come to the point of disqualifying entire sectors and acting to cast them out from Israeli public life."
"The haredi and religious parties number close to a million and a half people who are disqualified and slandered by politicians for no reason, and so I call on you Honorable President to work with all your might to calm the fire and change the discourse."
